Bio

Raymond Masters, 83, of Sumrall, MS died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Moore's Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, MS. Services will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at White Funeral Home in Azle, TX. Visitation: 9 am to service time at 10:00 am at White's Azle Funeral Home. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Mr. Masters graduated from Texas Tech (4yrs). He served in the United States Army (Paratroopers). He ran in our Country's Senior Olympics. Mr. Masters was preceded in death by three children: Lance Temple Masters, Anne Marie "Missy" Masters, and Walter Clayton "Clay" Masters, his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Irene Clements Masters, son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Rhonda Masters; five grandchildren, Patrick (Heather) Odom, Kristi (Bryan) Pate, Jeremy (Bre) Odom, Leslie (Blake) Blackwell and Connor Lance Masters; six great-grandchildren and two on the way as well as two sisters, Alma Jean Anderson and Loree Meaders. The pallbearers are: Wayne Fawks, Randy Fawks, Mark Cohen, Tyler Cohen, Cale Cohen, Hugh Wayne Ward, Michael Derting, Bryan Pate Blake Blackwell, Patrick Odom, Jeremy Odom (honorary).
