Bio

Hilmer B. Cardwell, 64, of W. Maxwell St., died Monday afternoon In the Greenlawn Hospital in Atmore, Ala. Mr. Cardwell was a native and life long resident of Escambia County, and was a member of the Baptist church. He was a retired grocery store owner. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Flowers of Pensacola and Mrs. Betty Lou Pippins of Molino; a stepson, Charles T. Lord of Pensacola; a sister, Mrs. Vera Jones of Fort Walton Beach; and 13 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. The Pensacola News - 29 Jan 1974, Tue
