Funeral services for Elsie Pagitt Douglas, 88, of Poynor were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8 at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. Jeff Godwin and Bro. James Farmer officiating. Burial was in the Poynor Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Mrs. Douglas died Tuesday, Oct. 8, in a Frankston nursing home. She was born June 8, 1911 in Poynor. She was a homemaker and had lived in Poynor most of her life. She was a member of the LaPoynor Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Carolyn Douglas and Benny and Donna Douglas, all of Poynor; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
