TEMPLE, Texas, April 23. (AP) — A fishing trip ended in the drowning of John David McRae, 13, and Norman Eugene Vrba, 11, of Temple. The younger boy slipped on the muddy bank of Peppers Creek into about nine feet of water yesterday, witnesses said, and both drowned when McRae tried to rescue his friend.
