Bio

Gesina M. Hatwig, 93, of Fort Smith died Monday, Aug. 30, 1999, in Fort Smith. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Senior Citizens. Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church of Subiaco with burial at St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery of Subiaco. She is survived by two daughters, Cecilia Gramlich of Fort Smith and Helen Reyburn of Fairfield Bay; four sons, Raymond of Elmer, La., Leon, Wilfred and Robert Eugene Hatwig, all of Fort Smith; four brothers, William Forst of DeSoto, Texas, and Fred, Edward and Henry Forst, all of Subiaco; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris, Steven, Mike, Mark and Jeff Hatwig, David, Frank and Fred Gramlich.
