Clayton Carl Eoff, Sr, was the son of Frederick Horace Eoff and Carrie M Wright, natives of Texas. He had one brother, Travis Odell Eoff, who died young. His parents owned and operated a cafe in Sylvester, Texas. Clayton married Evelyn Joyce Burns, the daughter of Victor Burns and Jewell Spurgeon, natives of Texas. Clayton and Evelyn were the parents of Sherry Virginia (Eoff) Arnold and Clayton Carl Eoff, Jr. Obituary "Star-Telegram.com" "Clayton Carl Eoff 1925-2007" "Clayton Carl Eoff, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and firend, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec 26, 2007, after a lengthy illness. He was 82. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Moore Memorial Gardens. "Clayton was born in Turkey, Texas on Nov 20, 1925. He raised his children in Hurst. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 32 years and moved to Quitman. Clayton served in the military and had numerous decorations. He attended First Assembly of God in Quitman for 20 years. His parents, Fred and Carrie Eoff, and daughter, Sherry V Arnold, preceded him in death.
