Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Susanna Griffin, 67, who lived on the Decatur Road, will be held Sunday at the First Methodist Church. Burial will be in the City Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Griffin died yesterday after being ill for about a year and a half. She had been a member of the Methodist Church for 40 years. Survivors include the husband, A. D. Griffin; two daughters, Mrs. Jewell Leopard, Athens 7 and Miss Elizabeth Griffin, Athens; two sons, Villard Griffin, Arlington, VA, and David Griffin, Oak Harbor, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; and one brother, Raymond Siniard of Anderson.
