Thanks to contributor #47466150 Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Tuesday, 1 March 1960 LOUP CITY (Special Dispatch) - Mrs. Mary Wroblewski, 79, died Sunday in a Loup City hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday in the St. Josephat's Church in Loup City at 9 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wroblewski was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krolikowski. She was born in Poland, Aug. 2, 1880 (sic). She came to the United States with her parents at the age of seven. The family settled in Pennsylvania where she attended school. Later the family moved to a farm near Ashton. On Jan. 29, 1900 (sic), she was married to Bernard Wroblewski, the first wedding in the new St Francis Catholic Church. They farmed near Ashton and Loup City until 1947 when they retired and moved into Loup City. Her ten children survive her. Surviving are six sons, Ed, Harry, Pete, Leonard and Albin, all of Loup City, and Frank of Ravenna; and four daughters, Mrs. Barbara McDonald and Mrs. Alberta Kramalisch, both of Omaha, and Mrs. Nellie Harder and Mrs. Ernestine Speers, both of Loup City; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Spotanski of Loup City and Mrs. Margaret Swinarski of Omaha; a brother, Stanley K. of Bushness; 30 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Her husband died in March, 1956. Three brothers also preceded her in death.
