Bio

The youngest son of John David Monroe Cherry and Anna Lou Cisson Cherry. He was brother to James Clarence, Herman Wesley, Andrew Jackson, Oma Lee , Thomas Cecil and Shalley Curtis Cherry. He married Jessie Belle Herron Cherry on July 13, 1932. They had one daughter, Leta Faye and two grandchildren, Cherri and Charles. He was a Mason in Isom Masonic Lodge #1242 for 35 years and was a charter member of Buena Vista Baptist Church. Worked for Phillips Petroleum Plains Plant.
