She went by the name of "Ead" or "Edi". She was the daughter of Julia Edith Sisk. Both of her parents were born in North Carolina. Married to William Elexander Butler Horton. She gave birth to eight children- some of which were: Oscar, Hollis, Gordon, Oda, Cora and Ora.
