Bio
Edna Lee died of TB when she was 36 yrs old. She had married Louis Allen Gootman/Goodman 24 July 1900 in Bastrop County. They had 5 known children. The children were sent to live with Edna's sister shortly after her death in 1917. The family story is that Louis left for California sometime after 1918 to search for gold. Either while still in California or on his way back to Texas, he was robbed and killed.
