Bio

My Great-Great-Grandmother. Narcissus was born on July 29, 1857 in Texas to John Rankin Billingsley and Sarah Eleanor Blair. She married Newton Allen Laughlin on November 22, 1888 in Childress, Texas and had 4 kids Ethel Mae, Lida Lee, James Newton, and Jesse Allen. She was blind and deaf for most of her life. She was married to Newton for 42 years until his death in 1931. She passed away on February 28, 1956 at the home of her daughter Ethel in Riverside at the age of 98. She was survived by her daughter Ethel Roberson (Clyde) of San Bernardino, CA, Sons James Laughlin (Rose) of El Paso, TX and Jesse Laughlin (Eva) of Colton, CA, Son-in-Law Finis Amend of Boise, ID, 12 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren and Many Nieces and Nephews.
