Bio

Mrs. Bowles was born September 26, 1917 in Seaton to J. J. Mikeska and Elizabeth (Motl) Mikeska. She was reared and educated in Seaton. She worked as a night manager at the Kyle Hotel coffee shop for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and sisters and husbands, Johnny Hejl and Tom Bowles, Jr. Survivors include two stepdaughters, Ann Bowles Turk and husband, Dennis of Belton and Margaret Bowles Williamson and husband, Mike of Salado, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Theresa (Tracy) Carper of Dallas, one brother, Leo Mikeska of Damon and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
