Beloved Wife and Mother dear friend to many. Mary was preceded in death by three brothers Louis, Lad and Gary Kouma; and her husband of 49 years Kenneth W. Wietzki. Mary and Ken were married on Oct. 21, 1950. Throughout their marriage they lived in Kansas City, Mo., Albuquerque, N.M., Lincoln, Omaha and Houston, Texas, until finally retiring to Wimberley, Texas, in 1990. In Wimberley, Mary became active in many local organizations, enjoyed card parties with her friends and spent quality time with all of her children and grandchildren. Mary also loved Nebraska lilacs and golden rod flowers with yellow buttons. Mary is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law Janet and Ken McDaniel, Wimberley, Texas, Susan and Tor Svendsen, Stavanger, Norway, Joni Hacker, Hillsboro, Ore., and Laura Ogletree, Wimberley, Texas. Her beloved grandchildren are Kevin McDaniel and wife Jen, Kristin McDaniel, Tor Erik and Daniel Svendsen, Rachel Girdler and husband Lukas, Jessica and Jeffrey Hacker, Michael, Amanda and Ashley Ogletree; and two great-grandchildren Aden Wright (Girdler) and Major Ogletree. Mary is also survived by her brothers and sisters Georgia Policky, Seward, Ellen Mlekush and husband Matt, Mufreesboro, Tenn., Bernard Kouma and wife Myra, Lincoln, and Dan Kouma and wife Lyla, Bee; sister-in-law Jean Cunningham, Gulfport, Miss.; and brother-in-law Joe Pecha, Omaha; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wimberley, Texas, on Jan. 25, 2013. Father Hilario Guajardo officiate. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mary Wietzki to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wimberley, Texas, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
