Bio

Funeral services for Benny Joe Johnson, 53, of Alexandria, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007, in Providence Baptist Church in Providence the Rev. Alvie Bailey officiated. Burial followed in Johnson-Bailey Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, in Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was born in DeRidder. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers an a niece.
