d/o; William Fish & Lillian Smith. ******************************* OBITUARY; Taken from the Corsicana Semi-Weekly Light - Friday, July 3, 1953 Belle (Fish) Jester May 22, 1879 - June 30, 1953 Rites Thursday For Mrs. Jester Funeral services for Mrs. C.L. Jester, 74, who died at the Corsicana Hospital and Clinic Tuesday afternoon, were held Thursday at 10 a.m. from the First Methodist church. The rites were conducted by Rev. J.W. Ford, pastor of the church of which Mrs. Jester long had been a prominent leader. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. Native of Kentucky, Mrs. Jester had resided in Corsicana since her marriage to the late Judge C.L. Jester in 1907. She had lived in the Navarro Hotel in recent months. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Claude Meadows, Jr., and Mrs. Armistead Rust, both of San Angelo, and Mrs. John Miner, Sweetwater; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. L.M. Walton, Micsawaka, Ind., and other relatives. Pallbearers were Elmer Butler, Jimmy Ruth, Homer Jester, Gerge Weinschel, L.A. Johnson, Jr., Rufus Shell, Matt Dawson, Leighton Dawson, Bouce Martin, Perry McCammon, John Mayfield, Dr. Wm. B. Mayfield, Dr. W.T. Shell, N. Suttle Rooberts, H.R. Stroube, Wilmot Townsend and BlL. Sanders.
