Bio

Mrs. Rose Szczerbacz, 85, of 1302 W. Olmos, died at her residence Oct. 9. Survivors: Sons, Joe and Ernest Jares, both of San Antonio, Will Jares, West, Texas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Monday, Oct. 10, 8 p.m. Akers chapel. Services Tuesday, Oct. 11, 9 a.m., Akers chapel with requiem mass 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary Magdalen's church with Rev. John Morkovsky officiating. Interment in the Ft. Sam Houston National cemetery.
