Bio

Pvt Frank Pecena Jr was born January 30, 1924 and volunteered into the service as an infantryman in April 1944. He was given his basic training at Camp Hood and was later sent to Maryland and from there to New York for transportation overseas to the European front. He was reported missing in action somewhere in France on January 20, 1945. He died as Prisoner of War in a German prison camp as a result of pneumonia.
