Bio
Alfred Henry August Reinert, 90, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at Dove Hill Care Center and Villas in Hamilton. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Hamilton. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Rutledge-Jones Funeral Home. Alfred was born in Hamilton, Texas, to the late Otto Oscar and Dora Emily Reinert. On Aug. 23, 1941, he married to Mamie Joyce Reinert in Hamilton. They lived in the Pottsville/Hamilton area where Alfred was a farmer. He was a Lutheran and a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, Monroe Reinert ; and sisters, Norma Baumgardner and Lorine Brice. Survivors include his wife, Mamie; daughters, LaQuetta Coan and husband, David, and Donna Rutledge and husband, Bill; son, David Reinert; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
