Veteran of World War II. Served in the Pacific Theater in the Philippines and in Papua, New Guinea, as a Tech Sergeant, United States Army. Preceded in death by his parents Otto and Dora Kauitzsch Reiner of Pottsville, Texas; and two sisters, Lorine Brice and Norma Baumgardner .
