Private Co. "B" 1st Arkansas Cavalry. Shot by bushwackers December 30, 1862, while enroute from Elkhorn Tavern to Fayetteville. He died on January 10, 1863. George was born about 1818 and was married to Sarah PASCHAL in (Present day Alamance County) Orange County, North Carolina.
