Husband of Elouisa Mahan Per Lisa Gunter McGowan: Parents of Isaac are: David and Mary "Polly" (Fletcher) Mahan, unknown at this time as to where they are buried. Per Information supplied by Rhea Gilbert: Issac Newton Mahan was born about 1823 in McMinn County, TN and married Elouisa Ford about 1840 in Taney Co., Missouri. He served with the Union in the Civil War-1st Regiment, TN Mounted Infantry, Company H as a private.
