Bio

Robert David Conner (Uncle David) Haughton, LA - David Conner, 54, formerly of Lufkin, TX, died, Thursday March 23, 2000 at LSU Medical Center after a lenghty battle with cancer. Mr. Conner left his body to science. Memorial service 1 pm Sat. at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home. He is survived by his mother, Iva Conner of Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Bossier City, LA; sister, Bertie Jo Alford of Shreveport; sister-in-law Jacqueline Conner of Bossier City; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Patricia "Trish" and Jerry Mattingly of Haughton and his very dear and devoted dog "Sonny". (As stated in the obituary, David left his remains to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport for research. LSU has erected a small marker in memory of those that donated their remains.) (This is the obituary that appeared in the Shreveport Times.)
