Bio
Marvin M. Kauitzsch, 82, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel in Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Marvin was born on Nov. 17, 1925, in Pottsville. He married Bess Fincher in 1944 and they moved to Fort Worth in 1951. He worked at Webb Air Conditioning Company for 38 years and served as service manager for 28 years, retiring in 1990. After retirement, he and Bess returned to Hamilton County and resided there until their recent return to Tarrant County to be closer to their family. Marvin was a member of Rosemont Church of Christ in Fort Worth and Park Heights Church of Christ in Hamilton. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Eline. Survivors: Loving wife of 64 years, Bess Kauitzsch; sons, Charles Kauitzsch and wife, Leslie, and James Kauitzsch and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Kelli Bankes and husband, Jeremy, Christopher Kauitzsch; great-grandchildren, Tyson Kauitzsch and Elizabeth Bankes; brother, Cecil Kauitzsch; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
