STANSELL (STAN) GIBSON Family man Stansell (Stan) Gibson, 61, died peacefully on January 24, 2004. He was born in Waco, Texas on May 28, 1942. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, gardening, computers, and vacationing in Lake Tahoe. Stan served 7 years in the US Navy, and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He continued working for the Navy as a civilian for 27 years, retiring as "Top Dog" in September 1993. Stan also worked as a driver for San Lorenzo Schools for 3 years. Stan was a wonderful husband to Barbara, loving dad to April and son-in-law David Ivins of Orange Park, Florida, and "Papa" to Matthew and Samantha. Stan also leaves behind his brother, Neill Gibson, and sister, Kay White, and their families, of Waco, and many friends. We will miss him so and cherish our wonderful memories. Please join us on January 30, 2004 at Mission Funeral Home -- 22297 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. Visitation at 3:00 pm; Funeral Service at 4:00 pm. Reception to follow at same location.
