Bio

According to his son Sven's birth certificate the family name in Sweden was Johansson. Hans August Hanson married Johanna Svensdotter on May 14, 1871 in Sweden. To this marriage 9 children were born all in Sweden; Ella Christine Wilhelmin, Carl O., Anna Christina, Andrew, Annie Louise, Henry, Albert Oscar, Theodore and Swen John Hanson. Seven of the children came to the United States and settled in Texas. August and Johanna arrived in the United States in 1914 at the ages of 68 and 67. In 1920 they are living with their youngest sons family on the farm in Hutto, Texas.
