CANTON - Services for Edna Pennington, 91, Canton, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with the Rev. Louie Barron officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton. Mrs. Pennington died Jan. 5 in Kaufman. She was born July 23, 1908, in Canton to the late Ebb Riley, Sr. and Mary Dixon Davis. She was a life-long resident of Van Zandt County and a member of Old Walnut Springs Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chandler Pennington, in 1979. Survivors include sons, Bob Pennington and R.C. Pennington, Jr., both of Canton; daughter, Mrs. Dean Hopper, Eusace; half-sisters, Ms. Willie Condon, Houston, and Mrs. Audie Bowen, Vernon, stepsisters, Mrs. Goride Burns and Mrs. Hallie Gilmer, both of Canton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
