Donald Leeroy Ballard Sr., age 69, of Liberty, TX died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at his home. "Gabby' Ballard was born on May 25, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio, to Aaron Virgil Ballard and Sarah Rosezella Curtiss. He attended schools in Latham, Ohio and was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He was a truck driver for the Jetco Delivery Company in Houston, and he was an Ordained Minister. "Gabby" enjoyed hunting and fishing and being around his grandchildren. He was an avid collector. "Gabby" is preceded in death by his father: Aaron Virgil Ballard and three brothers: William Sidney, Richard Elwin, and John Robert Ballard
