Bio

Eliza M. Myers, aged 73. cousin of Sam Myer, of this city, died at her home in Cornell at midnight Saturday, after suffering a stroke of paralysis early that morning Although she had been ailing for some time, no intimation was given of impending death, which descended upon her so suddenly. She was the daughter of John Henry and Sarah (McConnell) Myer, pioneers of the community about Cornell, and was born there, August 16, 1861. Her marriage with Nicholas Myers occurred there July 30, 1883, and they became the parents of five children, all of whom are left, and are aa follows: Mr. Ethel Weias and Mrs. Stella Arsenau, Washington, D. C.; Fred Myers, New Orleans, In; William Myers Pontiac, and Charles Myers. Cornell . There are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Dickerman, Cornell, and Mrs. Nettie Chapman.
