Bio

B.B. "Bill" Farley TURKEY - B.B. "Bill" Farley, 82, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Dreamland Cemetery with the Rev. Don McMahan, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Myers-Long Funeral Directors of Turkey. Mr. Farley married Ida Faulkner on April 15, 1945, at Turkey. He served in the Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Billie Farley of Turkey, James Farley of Memphis and Joe Farley of Temple; a daughter, Lanita Garnett of Dublin; a sister, Dollie Irby of Turkey; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Cody and Katelynn Education Fund at the Turkey branch of Memphis State Bank or a favorite charity. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 25, 2001
