Obituary The Taylor Daily Press 18 Feb 1940 Sunday. S.A. BOYD S. A. Boyd, 84, passed away at the home of R.D. Barron in the Wilson Springs community, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. He was been in Georgetown in 1855. Survivors are five sons, O. Boyd, of Georgetown; Ibe Boyd of Georgetown; F.L. Boyd and John Boyd of Pasadena and M.B. Boyd, of Taylor. He is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. R.D. Barron of Taylor. Funeral services will Tucker and Sloan funeral home. Burial will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery at Georgetown with the Rev. Williams, of the Georgetown Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers were J.W. Nelson, Jack Nelson, Demma Barron, Boyce Barron, Valdi Boyd, and Albert George.
