She was born near Higbee, either Randolph or Howard Co, on 11 Jan per her obituary but 15 Jan per the death certificate. She was the daughter of Robert Reed. She married in Howard Co on 26 Jan 1874 George W Blansett, son of William & Elvira (Johnson) Blansett. They had 8 children: Cora May, William, Oscar, Mildred, George Albert, Etta, Henry and Ruth E. She was a Baptist for over 50 years.
