Bio

Opal Lillian Conner was born to Alvin Neel and Martha Jane Guyle. She married Joseph Elno Conner on 6-6-1940 in O'Neill, Nebraska. She became the mother of 5 children, Joseph Everett, Bonnita Belle, Louise Opal, Kalynn Zenn and Neil Glenn. After the death of her husband Joe she married John Charles Rosdahl on 6-6-1988. John passed away in 2001. Obituary Idaho Press Tribune Opal Lillian Rosdahl, 86, of Caldwell, passed away Aug. 11, 2008. She was born Aug. 3, 1922, in York, Neb., to Alvin and Martha (Guyle) Neel. She married Joseph E. Conner on June 6, 1940. Joe and Opal moved to Idaho in 1949 with their four children and later added a son. Joe passed away Jan. 18, 1987, and she later married John Rosdahl in 1988, after becoming a member of the LDS Church. John later passed away. She was also preceded in death by a son, her parents, three sisters, a brother, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Joe (Helen) Conner of Paulsbo, WA, Bonnie (Bill) Brown of Caldwell, Louise (Henry) Farrow of Fruitland and Kay (Everett) Reed of Nampa; 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; three step daughters and their families; five brothers, a sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette.
