Charles "Randy" Kilgore, age 85, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born July 16, 1940 in Coeburn, Virginia, son of the late Charles Lee and Thelma Peters Kilgore. Randy faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He had earned a Masters of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary. Randy worked as a computer programmer for many years, retiring from Unisys, and later also retired from Tech II. Mr. Kilgore is now reunited with his bride of 66 years, Shelby J. Kilgore, who passed away in 2024. Survivors include his daughter, Terri K. Robinson and husband Kenny; special daughter, Tab Robinson and husband Matthew; granddaughters, Michaela R. Brady, Meagan Robinson, and Kendra Robinson; great grandchildren, Ander, Braelynne, Conor, Olivia, Carter, Christian, Ella Jean, Harmony, and Theo; and sisters, Tonya Hancock and husband Preston and Kaye Greear and husband Larry. The celebration of life for Mr. Kilgore will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Fellowship Chapel with Rev. Scott Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
