Norma Joyce Hedglin Mar 22, 1934 - Sep 19, 2025 Norma J. Hedglin, age 91, of Sidney, Nebraska, passed away at Sidney Regional Medical Center on Friday, September 19, 2025 with family by her side. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel. Inurnment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery. Norma was born on March 22, 1934 to Adam and Esther (Snyder) Sinner, in Gering, NE. She attended school in Gering, and after graduating she met Francis Hedglin. Norma and Francis were wed on November 16, 1955 until Francis's death on July 20, 2016. Their three boys Jeff, Scott and Greg were born in this marriage. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her three boys. Later in life she worked for Sidney High School in the cafeteria until she retired. In her last three years she lived in the extended care in Sidney, where she gained a very special friend, Gaila Wisdom, she became her best friend to the very end. Norma is survived by her son Jeff and wife Lisa of Sidney, NE, Scott and wife Eddy of Albuquerque, NM, and Greg of Arkansas. Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members. Preceded in death by her husband Francis, parents Adam and Esther, two brothers and her mother and father-in-law.
