Bio
Anita "Dee Dee" Brown, 63, of Stanford, KY passed away on January 22, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. Born July 6, 1951 in Hustonville, KY she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha Frederick Smith. She was a former employee of Horseman's IGA and BPI Inc., and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Survivors included her companion of 27 years: Dewey Moore; one son, Michael Ray Brown (Kelly); three sisters, Myrtle Hazlett, Velma Ollish (Orville), and Kaye Reichenbach (Fred); two grandchildren, Ainsleigh Brown and Lyndsay Rowland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Bill Smith, and Cecil "Chuck" Smith; three infant brothers; and one sister, Florence Sawyer. Visitation was January 25, 2015 from 5-9pm at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford. Funeral services were January 26, 2015 at the funeral home with Brother Andrew McGinnis officiating. Casket bearers were Keith Reichenbach, Paul Buis, Larry Walls, Jason Reed, Greg Smith, Scott Stanley, Randy Adams, and Bobby Brown. Honorary bearers were Orville Ollish and Fred Reichenbach.
