Bio

William "Bill" Smith, 73, of Geneva died on January 29, 2009. Born August 5, 1935 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Bertha Smith. He was a US Air Force veteran. He was survived by a special friend, Betty Hiter; three daughters, Julia Adams, Jeannie Smith, and Jenny Schneider; two step-daughters, Janet Epling and Cindy Coleman; one brother, Cecil "Chuck" (Violet) Smith; four sisters, Myrtle Hazlett, Velma (Orville) Ollish, Kaye (Fred) Reichenbach, and Anita Brown; a special cousin, Gary Peck; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great grandchild; and three step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Sawyer and by three brothers, Virgil, Ray and Ronnie Smith. Services were at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Mike Yocum.
