Diana Lynn Wideman, a cherished mother, grandmother, and dedicated nurse, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, in Van Alstyne, Texas, surrounded by her family. Born on March 4, 1945, in Houston, Texas, to parents David and Phyllis Ward Neel. Diana dedicated 35 years to her career as a registered nurse, primarily in the ER and ICU, where her skill and commitment touched countless lives. Her passion for nursing also led her to serve as a traveling nurse in various international locations, expanding her impact and experiences. Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Hank Wideman, her parents, her three sisters, and her daughter, Debora Ann Glaze. Diana found joy in the great outdoors, enjoying activities such as camping, water skiing, and horseback riding. She was also an accomplished seamstress, creating beautiful quilts for family and friends, and loved playing the piano. Above all, Diana treasured the time spent with her family, which brought her the greatest happiness.
