Services for Bill "Punch" Clark, 69, will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Harris officiating. Interment will be at Greenville Cemetery, Greenville. Services entrusted to Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta, Oklahoma Born on Sept. 14, 1936, in Turkey, Texas, to William T. and Maxine Whisenhunt Clark, he died on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents; and great-grandson, Christian Verkler. A resident of Love County most of his life, he attended school at Courtney, Burneyville and Russett and graduated from Marietta High School in 1956. He previously lived in Denton, Texas, and Liberal, Kan. He owned a retail store and owned and operated a service station in Marietta. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. His hobbies were quilting and gardening. He and Mary F. Howard were married on June 13, 1993, in Marietta. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters, Sheryl Cooper, Greers Ferry, Ark., Cindy Bagwell, Bonner Springs, Kan., and Brenda Garcia and Dianna Giger, Cabot, Ark.; three stepdaughters, Vivian Howard, Wichita Falls, Texas, Beverly Clark, Selah, Wash., and Vicky Lopez, Thackerville; a stepson, Dennis Lopez, Thackerville; two brothers, Max "Peanut" Clark, Enos, and Billy Joe Clark, Lone Grove; three sisters, Barbara Hoipkemier, Fort Worth, Georgia Ann Smith, Loco, and Ann Goldsmith, Eastman; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Bearers will be Carol Wayne Flanagan, G.W. Flanagan, Thurman Vinson, Carl Gragg, Wayne Bond and Dale Harvey. Honorary bearers are Leon Brown, Dr. Tom O'Connor, Donnie Clark, Dennis Lopez and Jim Tye.
