Annie Pearl Goldsmith was born July 20, 1934 at Turkey, TX and passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at her residence in the Eastman Community at the age of 79. She was the daughter of Bill and Maxine Whisenhunt Clark. A homemaker, Mrs. Goldsmith was a lifelong resident of the Eastman Community. She and William Taylor Goldsmith were married in Marietta on January 26, 1952. Mrs. Goldsmith was a wonderful caregiver, caring for her son, brother and mother-in-law for many years. As a member of the Eastman Baptist Church she loved sharing the scripture with others and singing gospel music as well as teaching Sunday School and cooking at Falls Creek. In addition she was very involved in the Spiritual Seekers and Relay for Life, making fried pies for Relay for Life. Ann enjoyed cooking, canning, caring for her garden and flower beds, but most of all, she loved the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; son, William Goldsmith; son-in-law, Larry Logan; and two brothers, Punch Clark and Max "Peanut" Clark. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Taylor Goldsmith of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Cheryl Goldsmith of Pauls Valley, OK, and Bobby and Deana Goldsmith and Robert and Terrie Goldsmith, all of Biloxi, MS; daughter, Deborah Logan of McAlester, OK; brother, Billy Joe Clark of Newport, OK; two sisters, Georgeanne Smith of Loco, OK and Barbara Hoipkemier of Fort Worth, TX, whom she raised as a daughter; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Serving as casket bearers will be grandsons, Scott Logan, Todd Logan, Josh Goldsmith, Greg Goldsmith, John Mark Goldsmith and Lane Goldsmith. Honorary bearers are Dr. Tom O'Connor, Bub Williams, Robert Dale Williams, Dusty Hoipkemier, Lynzi Linderman, Buford Rackley and Ron Beach.
