Bio
Paul was born September 2, 1943 in Enid, Oklahoma to Paul and Otilla (Novak) Maly and passed away on September 11, 2025 at Garber. He grew up in Garber and graduated from Garber High School in 1961. Paul then went to University of Central Oklahoma, graduating in 1965. Paul met the love of his life, Georgena Brezny, at the Yukon Czech Hall. They married on January 21, 1967 and celebrated 58 years of marriage. They lived in Woodward, before building their forever home on the family farm near Garber. They enjoyed dancing Saturday nights at the Czech Hall. They were blessed with four children, Joan, Chris, Matthew and Joshua. Paul was an insurance agent for Oklahoma Farmers Union for 36 years. He was a farmer and rancher. Paul was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid, and the Knights of Columbus, Council 1044. He was a member of the #1 Oklahoma Polka Club. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Georgena on January 29, 2025; son, Chris, and his parents. He leaves his daughter, Joan (Bill) Dunlap and their children, Kyle and Shelby of Garber; son, Matthew (Amanda) and children, Mackenzie (Andrew), Caleb, Garrett, Devon, Bailey of Prague; son, Joshua (Lora) and children, Hannah, Justin, Logan, Isabella and Kamdyn of Garber; Chris's children, Tyler (Anna), Derek, Craig and Kirsten; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Noteware and Helen Shriver; and many friends.
