Bio
Georgena was born on February 4, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Frank and Helen (Sestak) Brezny and passed away on January 29, 2025 in Enid. She grew up in Prague and graduated from Prague High School in 1966. Georgena met the love of her life, Paul Maly, at the Yukon Czech Hall. They married on January 21, 1967 and celebrated 58 years of marriage. They lived in Woodward, before building their forever home on the family farm near Garber. They enjoyed dancing Saturday nights at the Czech Hall. They were blessed with four children, Joan, Chris, Matthew and Joshua. Georgena worked for several years at the Cherokee Strip Transit. She was a dedicated farmer's wife, running machinery and taking meals to the field. In her later years, she watched the grandkids ride the combines. Georgena was a lifelong Catholic and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid. She was preceded in death by her son, Chris; parents and infant brother.
