Bio
Irma Jean Milhollen, age 88 of Junction City, LA, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 at her home, with her daughters singing her to Glory. Irma was born on August 13, 1937 in Dumas, AR to the late Beulah Katherine Hoyt Ashcraft and William Hogan Ashcraft. She was a longtime member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church, where she was faithful to attend. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and anyone that came into her home. She especially enjoyed being outdoors and growing and tending her many flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, G.L. Milhollen; and by three brothers, W.H. Ashcraft, Jerry Wayne Ashcraft and Pete Ashcraft. Survivors include; three daughters, Gail Geter and husband James of Lillie, Gwena McLelland and husband Richard of Spearsville, and Juandy Black and husband Michael of Spearsville; one son, Lamont Milhollen and wife Heather of Hot Springs; ten grandchildren, Lindsey Ramey and husband Michael, Trent McLelland and wife Donna, Erik McLelland and wife Jessie, Kayla Foster and husband Trey, Kyle Black and wife, Katrina, Morgan Estell and husband Brandon, Whitney New and husband Jeff, Chase Milhollen, Alexa Milhollen and Alanna Milhollen; sixteen great grandchildren, Peyton Ramey, Kenslee McLelland and husband Hunter, Harlee McLelland, Rylee McLelland, Allie Foster, Colton Foster, Carson Foster, Slade Black, Kurbi Black, Harper Black, Hoyt Black, Knox Black, Maxwell Davis, Heidi Milhollen, Lacy Milhollen and Katherine Estell; one great-great grandson, Lane Wilson; one sister, Jane Glover of Pine Bluff, AR; and one brother, Winfred Ashcraft of England, AR Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church, with Bro. Nick Andrews, Bro. Carson Andrews and Bro. Ruben Weaver officiating. Interment will take place at 2:30 pm at Palmyra Cemetery, near Star City, AR, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City, AR.
