Bio
Bennet - Roger Znamenacek, 78, of Bennet, Nebraska, passed away in Lincoln on November 13, 2023 after a courageous battle with COPD. He was born in Crete, NE on February 18, 1945 to George and Evelyn, the baby of 8. Roger was married for 49 years to his loving wife Janice. Together they owned and operated J&R Repairs. Roger lived vicariously through his children and grandchildren attending sporting and performing arts events, fishing, and crafts. Roger is survived by his wife Janice of Bennet. Daughters: Sarah (Ali) Alhachami of Bennet, Amy (Jason) Boyer of Bellevue. Sons: David Znamenacek of Lincoln, Andy (Wendy) Znamenacek of Grand Island, Allen (Susan) Znamenacek of Goodyear Arizona. Grandchildren: Mariam, Zak, Haider, Mason, Molly, Annah, Kaeliana, Karlos, Lani, Logan, Maggie, Casey, Lily, Nick, Elyse, Allison, Grace, Gavin, Jaden, Caleb; Great Grandchildren: Ava, Carter, Azalea; Sister/brother-in-law Toni Znamenacek, Robert Renner, Joseph Jones; Special nieces: Sue Dawson, Deb Roberts, Kali Slone. Proceeded in death by: Parents, Siblings, Grandson Josef A graveside service will be held at Centerville Cemetery on Saturday November 25, 2023. A celebration of life will follow at the Bennet Community Church at 3:00 PM. Family requests casual dress. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
