Peoria, IL - Lisa Marie Kniss, 43, of Peoria passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008, at her residence. She was born in Chicago on Dec. 15, 1964, to William and Betty Elledge Kniss. She is survived by her parents of Peoria; children, Jeremiah (Lila) Birkey and Sara Kniss, both of Bartonville; brothers, David (Bonnie) Kniss of Galesburg and Jeff Kniss of Bartonville; sister, Rogann Doering of Peoria; and her grandchildren, EllaMae M. and AnnaBelle S. Birkey. Her grandparents preceded her in death. Lisa was a registered nurse for eight years and director of nursing at Sharon Health Care. She was a member of Faith Missionary Church in Bartonville. Cremation has been accorded. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements. July 23, 2008 | Peoria Journal Star, The (IL)
