David Lee Kniss, 58, of Peoria passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014, at his residence. David was born Oct. 26, 1955, in Galesburg to William and Betty Elledge Kniss. He married Lorri Majcina. Surviving are his mother; three daughters, Carrie Kniss, Heather Kniss and Megan Grebner; one son, Jason (Tammy) Kniss; one sister, Rogann Kniss; and one brother, Jeff Kniss. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Lisa Kniss. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Military rites will be conducted by the U.S. Army and the Tazewell Military Rites Team. Cremation rites will be accorded. Full obit in the Peoria Journal Star - Apr. 23, 2014.
