Mrs. C. Adamcik, 78, Expires; Rites Held Wednesday Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Weimar and Dubina for Mrs. Charles Adamcik, 78, who died Monday in a Schulenburg rest home after more than two years' illness. After services at Hubbard Funeral Home, Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church by Rev. Henry O. Rolf, with Rev. John Bily assisting as Deacon, Rev. Joseph Deane as sub-deacon, and Rt. Rev. Anthony F. Drozd as master of ceremonies. Msgr. Drozd also gave the sermon. Rev. Lad Klimicek of Frydek was also present. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery at Dubina. The former Albina Hromadka, daughter of George and Terezie Hromadka, Mrs. Adamcik was born Oct. 29, 1885, at Dubina and was married there to Mr. Adamcik in November 1908. A lifetime resident of this area, she was a member of St. Michael's Church, Christian Mothers, Catholic Knights of America, and the VFW Auxiliary. Her husband survives, along with four sons, George of Galveston, Eddie of Bellaire, Henry and Joe of Weimar; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Janie) Krecmer of Weimar, Mrs. Albert (Hattie) Buxkemper of Bay City and Mrs. Anton (Alice) Korenek of Houston; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leo Hromadka of Ammannsville. Pallbearers were Frank Krecmer, Roy Adamcik, Thoma Korenek, Robert Jones, Bennie Hromadka and Victor Adamcik.
