Frances Dorothy Polasek, age 86, of Temple, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at a local nursing home. She was born on March 9, 1939, in Granger. She is the daughter of Charles Pekar and Frances (Zak) Pekar. Frances attended High School in Granger and was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Temple and was a homemaker. She loved her home and tending to her flower gardens. She loved taking care of her family and friends. She loved her church family. She is survived by her children, Jo Ann Klepac of Temple and Dorothy Anne Fuentes and husband Felix, of Academy, son-in-law, Gerald Schneider, Temple, grandsons, Kirk Dwayne Klepac and wife, Laura, Daryl Polasek and wife, Cari, Gale Kelley, Jr. and wife Lindsey, Felix Fuentes, Jr and James Fuentes and wife Misty, granddaughters, Kimberly Jo Klepac, Crystal Griffith and husband Michael Griffith, and great grandchildren, Colton Klepac, Carson Klepac, Steven Fuller, Jacob Polasek, Austin Polasek, Mary Ann Polasek, Skylar Polasek, Hunter Kelley, Melody Willard, Jonah Jacobsen; Lillian Jacobsen, James Fuentes, Jr., Joshua Fuentes, Joseph Fuentes, Julian Fuentes, and Hailey Fuentes. Frances is also survived by her sisters, Alice Welborn, Helen Malcik and husband, Edwin Malcik, Matylda Klepac, Shirley Hutka and husband, Anton Hutka, Georgia Dubcak and husband, Gary Dubcak, Susie Strakos and husband, John Strakos. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Frances Pekar, her husband, Emil J. Polasek, her daughter Shirley Anne Schneider, her son-in-law, David Klepac, her brothers, Bart Pekar, Robert Pekar and Johnny Pekar, sisters, Janie Klepac, Hattie Volek, Mary Martinez, Carolyn Redford, great grandson, Austin Klepac. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St Luke's Catholic Church. Special thanks to all who gave care to our mother at Baylor Scott & White, Park Place Manor Nursing Home and Suncrest Hospice Care.
