Bio
Loren Kuzelka age 81 of Lincoln passed away July 15th, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. Loren was born in David City and grew up in Brainard. He attended grade school at Holy Trinity school and graduated from High School at St. Mary's in David City. Loren served 6 years in Nebraska National Guard and was a lifetime member of the Denton American Legion post 0355. Loren attended business school in Lincoln and was employed as a senior account manager for 35 years at Experian. His entire work life was spent in list control entry and sales. Loren and his wife Eileen were married at Holy Trinity Church in Brainard and in June of 2024 they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Loren enjoyed life in the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed many fishing trips with his son and fishing buddies. He also enjoyed many hours bird watching and bass fishing at Rojella Park in Brainard. He is survived by his beloved wife Eileen, his son Jeffrey (Amity), daughter Amy, granddaughters Lacy (Mike) Helms and Jordyn Corn. His siblings Joyce (Bruce) Rezac and Lovonne (Larry) Behne of Brainard and sister-in-law Linda Lee Grosneclase of Hastings. Sister-in-law Theresa Kuzelka Omaha. Loren was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Marie Kuzelka, his brothers Ronald and Allen Kuzelka. Family will be 9-10am Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at North American Martyrs Catholic Church, 1101 Isaac Drive, Lincoln, NE. Rosary will follow at 10:00am and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am. Memorials are to: Lincoln Capital Humane Society, Lincoln Community Blood Bank and Masses.
