He was the son of JOHN FAHEY WALKER SR and ANNIE R SMITH . He was buried in Ft Sam Houston Cem., San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX. He married Betty Ann CROCKETT 27 JUN 1943 in Laredo, Webb Co., TX. John and Betty had the following children: Johnnie Frank Edward Fahey Peter Harrison Kennedy Crockett. John then married LUCILLE NORA BAXTER ABT 1960. She was born 15 JUN 1927 in NY, and died 31 MAR 2003 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX. John and Lucille had the following children: Lisa Ann WALKER Karen Elaine WALKER San Antonio Express-News Tues 25 Jul 1989 P11-B DEATHS - WALKER JOHN F. WALKER, JR., age 69, of San Antonio, died Saturday, July 22, 1989. Mr. Walker retired from the U. S. Army as a Major, where he received the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, .... (Germany), National Defense Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Walker was a member of Alamo Hts. Retired Teacher's Association. He was a graduate of Trinity University with a Master's in Education in August of 1968. He was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Lucille Walker; 2 daughters, Lisa Ann Walker and Karen Foeh and husband Craig; granddaughter, Corianne Foeh, all of San Antonio. The family will receive friends at Porter Loring Mortuary Tuesday evening from 7 o'clock until 9 o'clock. GRAVESIDE SERVICE THURSDAY - 10:00 A.M. FT. SAM HOUSTON NATIONAL CEMETERY with Full Military Honors, with Chaplain (LTC) Bobbie Bundick, officiating. Arrangements with Porter-Loring
